WeavePoint for Lampas taught Online via Zoom by Jannie Taylor
Learn to use some of the powerful WeavePoint tools to create Lampas drafts
in a variety of Ground to Pattern ratios. While you learn more about the
structure of Lampas, you’ll develop the skills you need to create your own
unique Lampas drafts. Learn to use features that allow you to show the grist
and spacing of both the warp and weft yarns. Making your fabric simulations
much closer to the woven cloth.
Throughout the workshop, we’ll identify and practice using the various
WeavePoint tools that will help you design stunning Lampas fabric.
Prior to class, a comprehensive workbook will be sent vis USPS. A collection
of drafts to be used during and after the workshop will also be provided.
Skill Level: Intermediate -- some software experience is desirable but not required.
Duration: 3-day workshop conducted Monday, Wednesday and Saturday of the week from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM PST each day with instructor availability between sessions.
Location: This is an online course held via Zoom.
Late Registration: Please register at least 14 days prior to the class start date. Registering later may not allow us provide you with class materials.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your enrollment without penalty at any time up to 24 hours before the class. While the notice is appreciated, cancelling withing the 24 hour period before class will result in forfeiture of your class fee.
If AVL cancels a class, you are entitled to a full refund of your entire class payment amount.
