WeavePoint for Echo & Iris taught Online via Zoom by Jannie Taylor
Learn to use WeavePoint’s powerful tools to design weaving drafts based on design concepts found in Marian Stubenitsky’s amazing book Weaving with Echo & Iris. Includes the flowing focus areas: echo threadings, network designs, turned Samitum and Taqueté, use of color, multi-structure liftplans and much more. Learning to use the many tools found in WeavePoint to assist in the design process will make creating some of these amazing designs actually fun and easy.
Prior to class, a comprehensive workbook will be sent as a PDF document to be printed by the student. A collection of drafts to be used during and after the workshop will also be provided.
Skill Level: Intermediate -- some software experience is desirable but not required. Class is limited to eight students.
Duration: 3-day workshop conducted Monday, Wednesday and Saturday of the week from 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM PST each day with instructor availability between sessions.
Location: This is an online course held via Zoom.
Late Registration: Please register at least 14 days prior to the class start date. Registering later may not allow us provide you with class materials.
You may cancel your enrollment without penalty at any time up to 24 hours before the class. While the notice is appreciated, cancelling withing the 24 hour period before class will result in forfeiture of your class fee.
If AVL cancels a class, you are entitled to a full refund of your entire class payment amount.
