The AVL A-Series is the most well-rounded handweaving loom on the market, and is available with up to 40 harnesses, 30 to 72 inch (0.75 to 1.8m) weaving width, flying shuttle, multiple warp beams, rotary temples, and auto-advancing warp and cloth storage. Mechanical Dobby Systems (up to 24 shafts) are a great alternative to computer technology but offer the same weaving speed and increase design potential.
- Comfort and Longevity: The open-frame design makes the loom extremely accessible. Warping, threading, and weaving can can all be done in comfort. Electric or Pneumatic harness lift systems can be added to make treadling as easy as clicking a button. Weave for hours without fatigue.
