What license type do you need?

With Loom Driver: This software allows you to design weaving patterns and then directly drive your loom. WeavePoint for AVL drives the AVL Compu-Dobby I, II, III, III+, IV, 4.5 and Little Weaver. Though the Compu-Dobby 5 does not require an external driver, WeavePoint for AVL will push the WIF file to the Compu-Dobby and open the browser & AVLDrive for weaving. WeavePoint for Louet drives the Octado & Megado looms. WeavePoint for ARM drives the ARM-based computer dobby looms.

Without Loom Driver: This option is for those who wish to design without a loom, for a mechanical dobby loom or traditional tie-up loom. The option saves while still providing the full suite of design and visualization tools. Choose without loom driver for License Type and none for Loom Make.

Upgrade: Choose this option to update your license to the latest version. Upgrading is done on a per major revision basis (e.g., versions 8 to 9). If you are two major revisions behind, you must pay for a quantity of 2 upgrades (e.g. from version 7 to version 9). Please consult with your AVL sales representative for more information.
