Product Update: AVLDrive v1.5.5 for Compu-Dobby 5

Official release date of February 2, 2026. This latest update of AVLDrive with Compu-Dobby 5 firmware addresses several bugs, including

• Improved loom reconnect when clicking out of and into the AVLDrive browser tab.
• Restarts on the correct pick line. The behavior is now more consistent with weaver expectations.
• Addressed 'never-ending' software updates. 

Installation instructions are provided in the latest release notes. 

Follow these simple steps to update your Compu-Dobby 5 firmware:

1. Establish a WiFi connection between your Compu-Dobby and WiFi router.
2. Select "Check for Updates" in the AVLDrive Utilities tab to initiate the firmware update process.
3. Wait until the process finishes. You will see version number under the AVLDrive title change to 1.5.5.
