WeavePoint for Twill by Jannie Taylor
Take your Twill weaves to the next level; learn about a wide variety of twill weaves while you naturally become more proficient in using your WeavePoint software. As in all of the AVL classes, the emphasis is on collaborative learning and hands-on experience in a relaxed, supportive atmosphere.
In WeavePoint for Twill, we will look at all kinds of multi-shaft twills – advancing, networked, fancy, plaited, twill overlay, etc. Then go on to learn how to use the many special tools found in WeavePoint to make creating your own unique Twill drafts quick and easy.
All materials and equipment will be provided including a comprehensive workbook and CD of all drafts used in the class. Access to a computer running WeavePoint software will be available, but students are encouraged to bring their own laptop to class if possible.
Skill Level: Intermediate -- some software experience is desirable but not
required. Class is limited to ten students.
